The libraries at USD are members of the San Diego Circuit Library Consortium, which maintains a database linking university libraries in the region. The Law Library supports the research, educational, publication and service activities of School of Law faculty, students and staff. It also serves as the legal resource center for the USD academic community and the judiciary, the State Bar and others in South Dakota. The Helen K. and James S. Copley Library, located on the west end of the campus, currently houses over 500,000 volumes. Collections include books, journals, reference works, databases, government documents, newspapers and electronic journals in many languages, as well as maps, videos, sound recordings, microforms and rare books. Coronavirus Update: University Libraries locations (I.D. Weeks Library and Wegner Health Sciences Library) are closed between March 15 and March 21. Online and remote services are available to faculty, students, staff and Wegner partner users.

National Library of Medicine’s interface for searching MEDLINE and other medical literature. Citations and abstracts to the world’s literature in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, public and allied health, and healthcare administration, with links to the articles listed. Currently the University of San Diego subscribes to COMPUSTAT, CRSP, I/B/E/S, and Eventus via WRDS. Access is limited to University of San Diego faculty, staff, master's and doctoral students. Users must apply for account access and be approved by the University of San Diego WRDS representative the first time they log in.
