Target first launched their car-seat trade-in program in 2016 and since then it's recycled over a half-million car seats! That number just increases every year as the program grows bigger and better. The trade-in program has seen more than 11.9 million pounds of car seat material recycled through their partner, Waste Management. The annual Target car seat trade-in event runs starts on Monday, April 22 to coincide with Earth Day 2019 and runs until May 4. Target is offering a 20 percent off coupon starting today for Target's trade-in event. Take your old car seat to Target's Guest Services and place it in the drop-off box from Sept. 3 to 13.
