The Multifiber Arrangement (MFA) was an international trade agreement on textiles and clothing in place from 1974 till 2004. It imposed quotas on the amount of clothing and textile exports from developing countries to developed countries. The Multi Fibre Arrangement (MFA) governed the world trade in textiles and garments from 1974 through 1994, imposing quotas on the amount developing countries could export to developed countries. Its successor, the Agreement on Textiles and Clothing (ATC), expired on 1 January 2005. On 3 February 2020, His Excellency Mr. Abdoulaye Diop, Minister of Culture and Communication of Senegal, and the Chief Guest at the 185th anniversary of the abolition of slavery, called on the Honourable Nandcoomar Bodha, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade.
